Dosing Combinations

Fiebig dosing combinations are mainly used to remove sand and gravel from a heap. They are, as the name indicates, combinations of dosing slides and dosing belts. When activated the slide is fully opened.

Fiebig dosing slides can be used as seals and as a means for dosing free-flow bulk solids. Each slide is constructed out of welded steel sheets, which are galvanized in the end. It is either driven by a worm geared motor and a bidirectional rack and a pinion drive. A manual override is implemented left and right from the drive shaft. The seep is collected in a ditch and sideways conducted into an on-site drainage system. The final positions and the material control button are retrieved by inductive proximity switches, which are wired together with the motor to terminal box.

Fiebig dosing belts can be used for dosing slow flowing bulk solids. Each dosing belt is constructed out of folded and welded steel sheets which are galvanized in the end. It is driven either by a drum motor or an attached gear motor. Due to different chord widths and axial distances it is easily possible to choose the right dosing belt for each and every requirement.
